If you need a practical Twitter workshop trainer to come to your company or organisation and inspire the troops, I can help! It’s an amazing way to communicate with the world. I’ve run Twitter training courses for lots of people, including National Park Rangers in a barn with no internet. So I’ve seen it all.
Here’s an example of a past workshop I’ve run several times about Twitter, my favourite type of social media:
A practical Twitter workshop
Have you set up a Twitter account for your business but don’t know what to do next? Are you struggling to attract followers? Are you running out of ideas as to what to tweet? In three hours you’ll get tips to cut down the time you spend tweeting, boost followers and re-enthuse you about Twitter again.
You will learn
- Examples of what makes a good tweet
- What hashtags (#) are and how to use them
- The power of lists and how to use them to boost your follower numbers
- How to deal with negative responses
Why Twitter is so great
I know how daunting social media can seem. I’d never even tried Twitter when I set up my first account. But I’ve discovered it’s a really powerful way to talk to your customers, support your local area and keep up-to-date with what’s happening in your industry.
Walking the talk
Brought up near Scarborough, I studied English at Cambridge University before going into web publishing. I worked for First Choice Holidays in Gatwick on their e-commerce websites. For eleven years I was the Lake District National Park’s Web Editor managing Twitter accounts, Facebook accounts and 1.6 million website visitors. Find out more in About.
Copywriter, coach and practical Twitter workshop trainer
I help businesses increase their profits through fresh words as a freelance copywriter. This can be through writing Google-friendly web content or managing social media accounts. I’m also on a mission to remove the mystique from the internet.
