I work with businesses, charities and public sector organisations. Sometimes this involves face-to-face training and coaching. With other projects I send web content and metadata straight to the client’s web developer or input it myself. Some other clients I’ve yet to meet in person as they’re at the other end of the country.
For any project I put myself in the shoes of your customer or audience. I ask you the questions they want the answers to. I research you, your competitors and get underneath any jargon to understand your business.

Interviewed on BBC Northwest and BBC Radio Cumbria about my work for the Lake District National Park.
For over a decade, I was the sole manager of the Lake District National Park‘s websites, including two commercial sites. This has given me a great insight into the public sector. As part of a small communications team, I often ended up writing news releases, radio advertisements, brochure text and leaflets. I also took on the challenge of taking our Twitter and Facebook accounts from zero to thousands of followers.
